Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) as per Cures Act, passed by congress back in 2020 requires all caregivers to document the services provided on the approved EVV application. BEST CARING PLACE, LLC requires all caregivers to report their visits/shifts on HHA Exchange application. All caregivers are required to meet the current EVV compliance rate of 85%. Meaning 85% of the shifts/visits must be completed on HHA Exchange application with no exception. Caregivers who do not meet current EVV compliance requirements are subject to disciplinary actions up to termination of employment. Missed EVV paper timesheets are considered NON-EVV-VISITS and therefore must be minimal and are subject to review, verification and approval by agency management before reimbursement. Accurately documented MISSED EVV FORM for every missed visit must be completed and received by the agency within 72 hours of the visit start time.
